So are you saying that your iPad is switched on all the time and on the Home screen? If so, problem solved. 'Settings', 'General', 'Autolock' and select the time before it goes to sleep automatically...

I am charging it back to 100%, for the umteenth time in the last few days and then I will pack it up and see!

But no ~ it has not been warm at all since I kicked back the orig settings thingy.

I know, Stefan! I kept racking my brain and thinking WHAT could it be? How could my iPad just start trippin after only 14 months? I take very good care. Not one stretch, either.

So I got up a few hours ago and it was warm. Put it next to me while I was on my desk top and realized....it never went to sleep! It stayed on the home page!

And I remembered asking Leigh or Marilyn how to turn off that, as I didn't want it to go to sleep...

Hopefully this is IT!

It has been packed for almost an hour in case and sleeve. Just got it out and at 100% and not warm in the slightest!
