I am an Ipad user but need some help sometimes when the written word does not answer my question..

When I take a photo, it saves it in camera roll AND photo stream. Why? Surely that is just taking up space?. how do I stop it saving the photos twice??

Hi, welcome to iPF! I hope you enjoy your time here!

When you take a photo, it is saved locally in your camera roll (and in iCloud, if you use it). If you have a second device, and you'd like to see that picture on the other device as well, you need to enable Photo Stream to see it there. It doesn't take extra space on your iPad. If you don't need this feature, go to Settings - Photos & Camera, and disable it there.

Mine is enabled, as you see.

I am mainly interested in 3D and graphical things, and I am incredibly fond of how 3D is cool on iPad and iPhone. I have a iPad mini for just a month and I'm looking for apps that shows what these devices can do . Also I'm fond of Surf Music, but that is another story.
