East coast (Sydney) had a time change to daylight saving time, west coast (Perth) didn't, it is now three hours difference coast to coast. We have voted on it several times but apparently if we have more daylight (!) our curtains will fade and our cows won't be able to produce milk! Grrr

Same in Queensland, no daylight saving time.
One positive is that it is light very early (5am) when the temperature is still cool. Much more comfortable for a walk or a round of golf.
