well they are victorian,would have been used inside the home by men or women,these are ladies ones though as they are pretty.

It looks like a cross-stitched or hook-stitched rugs you hang up on the wall.

well the back ground is wool in cross stitch and the pattern is wool and beads,there are two,theyr no where near as big as rugs......they are mounted on a stand that is 14 inches high.
