What's new

If you are new, please post an introduction thread.

Hi, I just got my iPad 2 two weeks ago and I love it. The only problem is I'm having trouble with FaceTime. I've created the account, but it won't let me FaceTime with anyone. I've tried calling someone that has FaceTime but all it says is "this person is not able to contact" and she was right beside me when I tried. Help I'm pretty confused with what's going on..

Hello, Ada here.
I am investigating freehand drawing on the ipad. So I joined this site to discover from artists what is the best sylus and which prigram they prefer to do life drawing. I may want to introduce this to my class at the college.

Howdy all. I've been using my iPad 1 since December as a professional writer and I totally love it. The ability to network, stay up with social media, surf, research and even edit while traveling has been a life saver.

I'm always up for hearing about new apps to make my life easier and my writing better. I'm still looking for a way to manage comment bubbles for editing in a word processor sort app. I'm looking forward to the conversation.

Hello,
I am an IT Specialist in the Orlando Florida Area.

I was a hardcore windows user. While I respected Apple’s platform, I had no interests at all in their computers. I learned what little I did growing up using the Macintosh computers in school (in the 90’s). When the IPad originally came out, I thought it was nothing more than a radioactive size iPhone, and at the time IPhone I did have (3g) was a pretty good phone and served my needs. I found the iPad unnecessary and even lacking because it did not incorporate Flash.

When the iPad 2 came out in April, I had to purchase a few for the big wigs in my company, which provided me the opportunity to ‘investigate’ some of the features. I was very impressed with this tablet, but could not justify purchasing it because I had a laptop that functioned well enough if not a little old and I could not see myself spending more money for a device that carries less function that the one I was using.
When my laptop died for the final time, I decided to revisit getting the iPad again.. It took me over 30 days to finally decide to bite the bullet and purchase one.

This tablet is deeply integrated in my lifestyle. I do not regret purchasing it :)

I still wish It incorporated flash though!

where are you not able to download them from ? the app store? try to do a search and if nothing then make a new thread for your problem.

Ah, another writer. Pages on the IPad has been a godsend. I get tons of work done in the oddest places now, where a laptop would be a nuisance.

Why? Never once had the need for Flash.

BTW you do realize that Flash is designed to use a mouse, and since tablets don't have a mouse it won't work properly on any of them?

Hi everyone,
I am new... But I have had my iPad for a while. I cannot consider myself an expert but I love my iPad. I am very much looking forward to get the iPad 2.

Hi

Hello all. I am new to the iPad (and Apple in general) and am just starting to get comfortable with the basic features. Looking forward to learning a lot from the more experienced users on this forum.
