I have been using a Hackintosh at home for a couple of years now, but have purchased a MBP 13", iPhone 4 and iPad 2 this year. I have two self-build Windows PCs that hardly get used these days, and I plan to replace my Hackintosh with an iMac when I can afford to, and get a Mac Mini for general use in the home living room. Sadly, I have to use Windows every week day, as the company I work for builds Windows software, and I am their software testing coordinator ;)
You have our deepest sympathies. ;)

I use mostly Mac laptops and a Mac Mini, but I do have one Windows XP laptop at work. I'd prefer to dump it, but I don't think my bosses would be keen on that.

I find that windows cost just as much as a Mac once you add office, storage, speakers, processors, etc. A 399.00 Dell laptop winds up costing 1,000.00+ or more. I figure I might as well get a Mac where virtually everything is included.

I have an iMac27 as our main home system. Also an Acer laptop which is used on occasion, I really want a Mac air but cannot justify one now (retired). My iPad2 has pretty much replaced the Acer. I am toying with going toLion but read about the problems, I just don't know!

Have been a Windows user for endless time. Got a Mac Pro and a iPod July '10, and just got this iPod 2 this Black Friday. Must say, enjoying the iPad rather favorably.

I recently replaced my laptop with a MBP, didn't care for it, tried a Samsung that failed and ended up with a ThinkPad. I didn't save any money, but I got more for my money. YMMV, of course.

are most people in here Macintosh users or windows users? i am curious if apple managed to reach people with their iPAD device outside of the mac community. iOS does not count as a mac user. i am just trying to see how many windows users are in this forum and how well this device is adopted by people who are not familiar with macs.

All my computers are windows 7. All my toys are Apple, iPad, iPod, iPod touch, etc... There is a difference between work and play.
