There was a movie.....I'm certain there was, that had different endings, I can't remember what it was called and maybe I'm dreaming it but I have some kind of recollection. There are also some DVD's with alternate endings but you normally have to watch them separately from the main film.

I've watched the original Planet of The Apes that many times. I still get a chill when Heston discovers broken Miss Liberty.
