What's Your, all-time, favorite scary movie? Or the scariest movie You have ever seen?
Unfortunately I can't remember the name. [Buzz kill] I was about 11 (I'm 29 now) sleeping/ watching tv in the living room late night Friday (as my twin & I always did Friday nights) & this scary movie came on HBO about a bunch of college kids going into a creepy big old house to stay the night. And as each 1 got picked off the others still alive would have to face/ go against their buddy turned evil. Each had their own theme of death depending on how they died {i.e. by jig blade, hammer, etc}. At the end the main 2 characters had to face the grandmother. The queen of that evil compound.......matter-of-fact the closest movie that comes to it is House.
I only got to see it once, unfortunately.
I think the scariest movie, off hand, that I can think of is that Michelle Phiefer & Harrison Ford movie (dang why can't I remember any movie titles at the moment) Beneath the something.
I also liked The Collector, if you would call it that.
Lol
Thanks for any feedback

Yea I can understand that. Not the scariest movie (to me) but when you're backed up into a corner & 1 of those aliens are right up in your face (about to do that brain smash thing with their alien [faced] tongue).........it gives me chills. Almost as if you could picture yourself in that persons shoes, having to face, sure, death & by the most hideous creature 1could imagine. I'd use the bathroom on myself.

Thanks for Your feedback

Oh, Alien, definitely - in space no-one can hear you scream. My daughters say Paranormal Activity 2, The Ring, The Candyman.
I don't like scary movies so Alien, Halloween, Friday the 13th, Carrie, It, The Exorcist and The Shining are the only ones I've seen so far.

When you have come across enough horror in real life, horror movies aren't at the top of your list.

Hellraiser, I've seen the first three and they hit the mark, as you would expect from the mind of Clive Barker.

The Archangel

Okay, here's two from my youth. The child catcher from Chitty Chitty Bang Bang. Oliver Reed in Oliver Twist. Creepy!
