What's new

What is it?

Is it some kind of shoes with multi coloured shoe laces? The subject of the second photo doesn't appear to be connected with the other photos, unless you're wearing the shoes with multi coloured, striped socks.

Yes, that's correct.
Now at what sort of occasion would these be suitable?
I'm thinking...not a funeral, say.

Wicked Witch of the East in the Wizard of OZ?

Lol
Yes, that will do, though don't think I would be frightened of a witch in this get-up.
The "leg warmers" are just long socks. Actually worn at a pre-wedding hoolie in Sweden. The rest of the outfit was in a similar style. One has to be in the swing of things to dare, or be a natural show-off. :-)

Over to you scifan. I must away to have words with the Butler about some training of the staff. The Housekeeper will want to dump it all on the Tweenie but I am told she is one feather short of a duster. Luckily, below-the-salt matters are not one's concern.

Here's a camera for you this morning.
What camera is it? Who made it? Which country was it made in?

Here's some more photos.
The viewfinder is removable and is changed to match the focal length of the lens in use.
The key to identifying this camera is the vertical fitting with the lens in it ,situated next to the viewfinder.

Not a clue about old cameras, but to search, might that "N" plus following number on the lens indicate an initial letter of the make? The only one I know is Nikon, but think that's Japanese... (?)

Probably way out :-(

No,the Nr stands for number. The camera's not Japanese, but European. It dates to the early 1950's.

Thanks, Scifan.

My challenge is. What is this object part of? Ignore the background, It is one of 3 parts which make up the whole item. What is the complete item used for?
