But boy, it is everywhere in the news. Even the German radio stations couldn't stop talking about it. I got so annoyed that I shut off the radio.

My wife and I watched the opening ceremonies live on the ipad2 whilst still in bed this morning.

The BBC news app and iplayer apps are pretty useful at times.

FWIW, I am a royalist, I think they are wonderful for the country but royal weddings, oh so boring! Add to that the Beckhams and various other working class upper class enjoying the last bastions of the class system while the adoring public look on from a distance.

But really, I think the two of them are fantastic.......just.......not wanting to watch it.

It was prime time here, the ceremony proper started at 7:00 PM, and was on all channels. I had no choice but to lie back and think of England.

Seeing Westminister Abbey fully lit, in HD and from so many angles was quite spectacular. It's usually pretty gloomy if you actually visit it.

The happy couple looked, well, happy.

Secret crush! Noooooo! Skinny, boney, ugly, far more beautiful women, for eg. Kate, Duchess of Cambridge. She looked beautiful and so calm, no mistakes, no shaking. I loved Prince Harrys cheeky look in the abbey and I agree the abbey looked gorgeous.
