^ Well ipad 2 was jb only few days after release but patched(we all know the story).

Comex has confirmed via a series of tweets that his userland jailbreak he showed off few days ago has already been patched by Apple in the newly released iOS 4.3.1. Well, hackers lose the war against Apple again.

Comex on his Twitter account:
yeah, uh. I can find kernel exploits, but this is ridiculous.

As noticed by @0naj, my kernel exploit was fixed in 4.3.1.

I try not to be paranoid, but it is really hard to explain this as anything but a leak.

It stayed there from 4.0.2 through 4.3, but was magically found in time for 4.3.1. well, go go @MuscleNerd and @i0n1c I guess

All iDevices have been jailbroken so far. Or am I wrong? Yea ok, the first iDevices..
The JB is "almost ready".
It will be there, eventually.
