Have you figured out the Facebook thing yet? It didn't work for me, probably because my airport has been blocked. Good thing I stocked up on the greens before I updated.

No, it's still driving me nuts. Can't make it work on either game, makes no difference whether or not I am logged in to Facebook ( thanks Luke, but it didn't help ).
Damn icon still sits there taunting me. Didn't expect it to work on my blocked game but I thought that it should on the other one. I've put in a ticket, just for the hell of it, wonder if they'll tell me to reinstall the game?

It's irritating me too as I don't do FB and don't know any way to get rid of it.

It would be nice if it went into a loop where it paid out three greens. What I could do if I had a few hundred green cash...but I suppose having the game back to as normal as it can be will do in the meantime.

Several of us on the forum have opened "Fakebook" accounts, just to use with the game. Might be worth a try and you may get rid of that damn icon.

Can I suggest that you fire off an email to the GI CEO who I referred to in an earlier post.
I had a minor restriction on my iPhone game as I had been told that I was a time traveller etc.
I got no reply to my own message to the CEO (where I complained about the totally false accusations), however, about ten days later, the restriction to my game somehow disappeared.
It may be related to my email to the boss?

Against my better judgement, and because Mary from GI kept pestering me, I decided to take the plunge and delete my game. (This was to fix the problem of the game freezing up each time I visited a neighbour). It wasn't a nice experience deleting my game and then opening a new one and starting from scratch. To cut the story short, Mary sent me a code this morning (after a couple of days wait) and hey-presto...my original game was restored fully with all my achievements and money etc. I was very relieved and this does prove that they can indeed do a full restore. I was beginning to believe in GI once more (I'm very forgiving, if somewhat gullible). I successfully visited my first neighbour who was Fred, and I then returned to my airport, and guess what? Yes.... my airport was frozen, just as if had been prior to all the hassle of deleting it and having it restored. I've thanked Mary (for nothing) and told her to close the ticket. I'll live with the problem as others are doing. What a shower they are! Nutty

Further to my earlier post, I now find that the Duke's airship won't be visiting my newly restored airport for another two weeks,
They got me again. It's like rubbing salt in the wound.

Just went back to the game and the airship had landed despite it telling me ten minutes earlier that it would be two weeks before it would land.
This game is getting like Fred Carno's circus!

Every time you think it can't get any worse they seem to find a way to ruin something else. How resourceful they are in finding ways to harrass their customers! Never mind finding ways to fix the game.

I am building the airship dock. What's with the timer in the top left corner? It is down to 3 hours and I have 1 rope block to get. Is this the timer that if I don't complete it in the proper time, I lose it? Or is it the timer to tell me when Crooker appears? I don't want to miss out and I do have 2 greenies if I have to spend them.

I'm not sure what you mean. Can you post a screenshot of this?

Have been away but have been sending and returning gifts that I assume no one has received. Then, a couple of days ago most of my neighbours apparently quit playing because I too got the message that you've been away from the game. And today I got the message that Duke Crooker doesn't do business with time travellers and cheaters. Don't know if I should laugh or cry or find a good therapist that will understand my frustration with a stupid game. Glad to see all of you are still hanging in there. Oops! Time to visit my neighbours. Let's see who I can visit this evening . . . . .

Maybe this is the timer to tell me when he leaves? I don't even have it completed yet. I had read something about having a timer to build the airship and if you didn't get it built in the allotted time, you would not be able to finish and you would lose it. I have 3 hours to figure this out.

This tells you when Duke is leaving. I have the same thing on my screen except it says the time left is 2 days 22 hrs. I don't understand why yours says 3hours but then again this game is so screwed up, who knows what's happening anymore?
