Soo...I was watching a movie on my two-week old iPad, and my friend went to go turn on the captions, and she kind of dropped it facedown onto concrete. I just stood there, mouth wide open, for about ten seconds. It had never been dropped before, and I had spent every waking moment with it ever since I got it. When I finally got around to picking it up, there was one long crack diagonally from left corner to bottom right corner. I thought to myself, "Well, it isn't too bad." then, I saw the bottom right half of the screen over the digitizer. It is completely shattered! the screen still works, but, as a teenage girl, I'm more than a little vain, and I have a bunch of little siblings that like to touch stuff, especially broken glass. So I went online and looked up the glass replacement, and it was like $130! That's ridiculous! the touch screen still works and nothing else is hurt, save for a small dent in the upper right corner in the metal. So, I guess my question is, Does anyone know a cheaper way to replace the glass on my iPad? I'm kind of tight on money, being a babysitter and all. I really need some help. P.s. I still have almost a year left on the warranty, and I have insurance on it, but I can't find the paperwork anywhere. Besides, I don't think either of them covers screen damage.
