Yes, it certainly is. The arm is a freaking work of art! I expect few here would understand why anyone would spend so much to play 50 year old recordings, but to me it's worth every penny.

As for the photography, it was just my iPad 3, a 40W light bulb, and of course the indispensable Snapseed to disguise most of the shortcomings of skill and hardware.
