Almost meteorologist, but not soldering iron and not toothpick, way too expensive for that. I am doing something with the tip...

It revolves...so an M's drill to make a hole in something.... Not likely to be a cloud or a cold front. No other ideas!

Just arrived home, sorry for the delay. It is not a scanning probe head but it is a probe head. It is used to measure parts and asemblies of cars (in our case). The DEA machine is the best machine (in my opinion) because it is very fast and has features that other machines would like to have (hole searching to name but one. I love my job, creating programs for these machines in our plant. I will show a photo of my machine early next week when I can guess something again. Because the scan head was so close I give it to scifan, well done.
