What's new

What is it?

What is this? I find it calming.

A garden swing or glider?

Hmmmm. Whirligig? I always thought Syd, was a bit more majestic. In fact if it wasn't for the fact he's stuck to a post in the ground, he would soar!

That looks cool. I miss the west & Saskatchewan in particular. My in-laws were in Saskatoon when we lived in Calgary. We'd drive to see them once a month via Drumheller then straight across. Loved it in the winter. Horrifyingly cold but the bluest sky in the world.

The Shelbourne in the link is in Nova Scotia.I spent quite a bit of time in Nova Scotia while in the Navy, but never got to Shelbourne.

Yes I'm aware. My uncle Richard was stationed at the former air base in Shelburne. My dad's family is from the Annapolis Valley.

Sorry that my remarks about Saskatchewan were
out of context. You've posted by far the most picks in this thread including some from a festival
you attended a few weeks back. I just find it all interesting.

I have good memories of Sask and the time too.
