Well I've identified your caffeine rig as a "Philips Saeco Exprelia" machine but I can't discover the orange part. Is it a door or compartment handle for coffee overflow?

I think "coffee overflow" + compartment is sufficient and I hand over to the admiral for the next challange.
The orange part is a swimmer/indicator which gets out of the grid at the fron-bottom when the compartment is full (though not being a handle)

This is the machine

It almost looks industrial hpulmer. I bet it grinds and makes the coffee automatically. I had to return my newly purchased all singing and dancing coffee maker on the day I bought it. To avoid a domestic!

I'm envious.
