What's new

What is it?

It has a spring wound film advance motor. The winding knob for the film advance motor is on the bottom of the camera,as shown in the photo.

I'm pretty sure it's a cannon without zooming in

Yes,but which Canon model. This camera came in two versions, the original model and an improved version. This one is the improved version.
It uses what is called the half frame format, producing negatives of 18x24mm size instead of the regular 24x36mm size.

Correct,Fleur. You win the challenge and get to post the next one.
Here is a photo of the entire front of the camera.
You'll notice that it says Bell&Howell on the camera.Bell&Howell were the Canon distributors in the United States at the time and had Canon place the Bell&Howell name on the cameras made for sale in the United States.

Since Fleur is unable to post a challenge at this time I'll open up the challenge to the first person who chooses to post a new challenge.

Fleur the image you've offered for the challenge is very grainy. I'm guessing that it's a grill of some sort with an attached handle.

Right or wrong, can you please re-post the challenge image with better resolution.

Thanks

AA
