You know I was one of those kids who'd stand on the road overpass and give the "yank the horn" sign when Mr. Big Rig approached. I don't remember a driver not giving a toot.

We still do, but I for one don't do it when bus loads of school kids give me the signal. The thought of distracting the bus driver with the noise that those things make is too scary. Kids on the side of the road etc are a different matter. It is so easy to make someone smile, so why not?
