Good choice! We love our Apple TV. Every time we find something on YouTube or a song on one of our apps, we AirPlay it to our now old tv. It's probably 8 years old Philips HD ready 32" but still going strong. It's got 2 HDMI so Sky HD and Apple TV have those and it's also connected to an X-box too. Amazing quality. We haven't quite entered the 3D era yet.

Actually, the last time I looked into it I think I found that the UK Netflix was a bit of a poor relation compared to the American version which is why I'm keen to hear Haley's experience?

I personally prefer Hulu Plus over Netflix. I found a better and bigger selection there.

Yes, I'd be interested as well to see what Hayles says about Netflix. I found that Netflix was fine for me, but see...I don't watch a ton of movies. I had both and both looked to have similar offerings .

Reinstalling Mountain Lion. Something went hinky with Bootcamp, left my hard drive a mess. I'll be able to more fairly partition my drive now though.

Well Gab. You would be interested to know that The Assassination Bureau is on Netflix. I'm sure one month free is the only way to find out? I'm enjoying all the Dr Who program's, Jonathan Creek, etc... I'm still enjoying what is on there so in my humble opinion I think it's worth it. Unfortunately, you may have different tastes to me? It's worth a try surely?

I'm on the wrong side of the pond, but love Netflix on my new Apple TV. Seen quite a few movies and shows. Lots of American and Brit shows to see on our version, almost too many choices - nah, never too many.

Plus I can watch it on the iPad or iPhone if I am out and bored.

Sometimes rain can be positive. Yesterday, we were glad it rained (here in Austria). When it stops raining, we will enjoy that as well.
