On a serious note, the best advice I can give you is to continue following this thread and also 'jailbreaking methods for the iPad' thread, this is where I found out about the 4.3.3 jb for iPad 2 and the 5.0.1 jb for a4 devices (iPad 1 and iPhone 4)

If there was a jailbreak at the moment or (in the very rare case) an eta for a jb it WILL be here

Everyone should upgrade their devices to 5.0.1 (except unlockers) now while they still have a chance!!!

First thing to do is save your 5.0.1 shsh blobs, before it's too late...

You should read that! All explained by f4780y.

We cannot use SHSH Blobs to up/downgrade on 5.0 or higher, but maybe we can in the future so it's a good idea to safe them!
Search for TinyUmbrella, download the program, connect your iPad2 to your PC and safe the blobs.

Well, I updated to 5.0.1, there is no way back now. I just hope I made the right choice.

For now I'm enjoying just having an iPad. I'll be relaxing waiting for the jailbreak, it will happen eventually.

I updated too. Honestly, I believe they will either crack that or not at all given the A4 situation. I'd rather not get caught before the new firmware and it seems that Hill was giving a clear signal.
