How did u get sbsettings? I tried installing it..but it just hangs at 'preparing activator'..I restart and go back to Cydia and force clear..but nothing comes..

Actually its pretty [deleted - DM51] stable for a broken beta release. Everything just works perfectly. I could install and run mywi4, sbsettings, splitmail ipad, iconoclasm, snes hd, .....

I don't know why there are some people here saying this 4.3 is unstable,buggy etc...I have been using it now for more than 12 hrs and touchwood it's as stable as my stock 4.3! I guess these are the people who are consoling themselves by saying such things whereas all those who have the jb are having fun

It is easy to find out that this release is buggy - try running SSH and you will see. A good friend of mine tried it too yesterday and he had the same probleme. If you log in as root for the first time and try to change the password via "passwd" you will see an error message, which says, that there is no username called root in ../../master.passwd. We found out, that the file will be deleted instantly after login -_-. My friend is an it-specialist and he tried some linux voodoo (+g+), but he wasn´t able to solve the problem.
After there is no root, mobile etc. user anymore, the ipad is dead. Most apps won´t work anymore and the device can´t reboot. You are only able to recover the ipad via itunes. But after this you are on 4.3.3.

The leaked jailbreak is 4.3 wifi only then is'nt that the one which was patched *mysteriously* by apple as it used their coding? I dont think comex is to let anyone try his jailbreak and potentially ruin his work. How come the leaked jailbreak wasn't 4.3.3? Makes me wonder? Even so, only the minority are jail broken now as most people don't have 4.3 anymore and the 3G iPad 2 is the best seller.

That's how I did it, reading the previous post as I had the same problem

You just need to let cydia finish loading, and install it only after that.

The only bug that I've found is a wifi issue, it remembers my wifi which was already saved on my ipad2 before I jailbroke but I can't connect to any new wifi's, I've tried my mates house and also tethering to iPhone 4 and both times it keeps coming back with incorrect password, ( yes I am putting right password In ) but as long as I use it at home( which is 95% of the time )it's all good, if I find I need other wifi I'll go unjailbroken again,

It's a shame that the iPad 2 jailbreak has been leaked after Comex's hard work - at least us people on 4.3.3 can sit tight and wait for an official release.

This would be a deal breaker for me as one of the main attributes of the ipad is it's portability.
