MyWi oder itheter?

Hi,

I want to use my broadband package of my iphone 3GS (jailbroken, in 4 weeks it will be an iphone 4) on my ipad (jailbroken). I read here some posts about MyWi. I just saw now that there is a new app released in cydia called itether. It seems better as it goes through bluetooth and not wifi, so the battery consumption might be less.

Does anybody know this app and has some experience with it. Which one would be more recommended?

Haven't tried either. However, BT is limited to 2.1 Mbits/s (under ideal conditions), and has a higher latency than Wifi. I'm also not so sure that it draws less power as you say.

you must first either pay for tethering on your iphone or hack it to enable tethering, then purchase iTether for the ipad to connect it with the iphone.
