iPad owners average age

Interesting poll. I wonder if the results would be any different if the question asked the age group of the person the ipad was originally purchased for. A couple of friends of mine were happy with their ipads but gave them to their children and purchased ipad2's. I too expect that I will pass mine on if I get persuaded to upgrade (when one becomes available).

I'm older than dirt and really like the tekkie stuff!!! Apple is terrific. Grew up with paper and pencil. No computers (some of you cannot even imagine such a thing!). Now have iPhone 4, iMac and iPad 2. One-to-One member, too. Looking forward to learning even more here.

Of course we do. The avg. user is 45 years old.

(7.5*0.03)+(20*0.09)+(30*0.16)+(40.5*0.23)+(50.5*0.23)+(65*0.27)=45.3

The main open variable being the age group 55+, there is no set limit, so I guessed the avg of that age group to be 65.
