Dragonvale Tips & Tricks! (NO Friend Requests!)

Have been following the forum for about two months. Wish to contribute a little to the great discussion here.

Our game is at the level 24. I just arranged my islands such that all dragons have "+" except
Plant
Sandstorm
Reindeer
having neither "-" nor "+".

First island: Earth + Fire with boosts (Earth, Fire, Plant)

Second island: Water + Air + Plant (Plant, Reindeer) with boosts (Water, Air)

Third island: Cold + Lightning + 1 Earth (Quake, Mountain, Sandstorm) with boosts (Cold + Lightning)

I got 4 suns from blue fire and crystal, one from snow and scorch. For moon I used snow and scorch, and another from mud and storm

Thanks for tha will give them ago when my others finish breeding. Can anyone please tell me why I cannot bread a sandstorm dragon. I am level 23 and have both the breeding cave and epic breeding. All my dragons are level 10 and 11 and have all except Sun, Moon and Sandstorm dragons please please please can someone help x

Well a quick update .... My 3rd rare turned out to be a 3rd Moon..... Sad I know, but I'm fed up of Getting them as I have to either sell the Moon, which feels so wrong, or sell a habitat...
So I decided I would start recording all my breeds to see if following through with multiple mixed dragons helps and WOOHOO I finally got a 4th Special.

Decided to use gems to speed up the breeding and I now have a pretty spotted egg sat in my hatchery at last!!!!
Yay for the Rainbow!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Try air and mud, air and mountain, air and tree... Those are the best

Hello

Just wanted to drop you a line and tell you that I have successfully bred a rainbow dragon two times in a row using the ble fire dragon on the left side and a crystal dragon on the right. Good luck

I think it's a mountain dragon

Mountain is 14 hrs...so if it's 12 hrs it will be something else. :thumbs:

Ive refused to use the crystal in my efforts to get a rare as i dred the 24 hr breed for another crystal!! However i thought since i hadnt tried it id give it a go with bluefire and hey presto!! 48hr breed time! Pleeeeeeeeease be my moon!!!
