I need to put in my two cents. Although I have been playing a long time 500 million for the eighth island is absurd. I hover around 430 million however in order to keep upgrading, you need to get 'food' in the one to five million at a pop. I suppose I could scale ( no pun intended) down my dragons, but the more expensive ones took a long time to procure. I know there have been other items that were lowered in 'price' ( of course not until I purchased them) so therefore I am asking those who develop this game to consider lowering the price. I realize the thoughts of the developer is to get you to spend real money for coins and gems, but there comes a time when you just say no.

Think about what level you are on now, and how you can increase your earnings. You could put habitats into hibernation in the storage tower, or you could breed for cash.

I love the look of my islands and my habitats. However, on going to bed right now, I've just stored my air and ground habitats and swapped them for two Olympus habitats as I had 9 gold Olympus dragons in my hibernation cave. That will give me about 500,000 extra in the morning. I will collect the $, put the gold Olympus dragons dragons back in the hibernation cave, then put those two habitats in storage and bring out my air and ground habitats for the day, and then do a switch again in the evenings.

Also, if you have Kiaros that is a huge advantage - the more rare habitats you have the higher $ they pull in. It's all about strategy....o, and the love of the game too...and those party hats too. They earn quick money.

Wow! U amaze me! You take the time to swap them out at night!? Great idea! Don't know if I would have the patience for all that moving about! Already divulged my lack of patience for party hats.

I notice your blue moon army is growing and growing Susz - clever girl. As you can see from my islands I went for a whole island of rainbows. I wouldn't recommend that to anyone else because they cost 5 million more to build and the dragons earn less - I just love the look of them!

I check your islands every day for the party hats, and sometimes more. I love to see how everyone on the forum is doing!

That's great news. Some players find that in the last few days they get the gemstone dragon they are trying to breed. I don't think it should be that hard to breed, especially when you have been trying since day one. A player can become really despondent when they need to wait that long. Hope that backflip can rectify this. Just really glad for now that you have been successful after all this time, and congrats for not giving up.

Finally got Diamond. Weird, I'm trying since the first day it came out and I've always tryed Ice + Mine with no luck at all. Today, I tryed to switch them (Mine + Ice) and voila, there it is.

Congratulations...so happy for you. Have tried doing that for my 2nd but no luck, now have a silver on the EBI will speed him up later so I can keep trying. 40 plus fails trying for my second. lots of cash coming my way soon

Just counted and its 55 failed attempts at My 2nd Diamond and another two breeding, one is another Silver, 38 hrs ............

Thanks Marie, really appreciate that, as I've fallen in love with them too. I just activated Kiaros, but just before I did I switched over my air and water habitats for 2 Olympus habitats. Air and water would have pulled in only 40,000' however the two Olympus pulled in 420,000 instantly..it's not rocket science when it comes to strategy. I've just switched them back. Another great tip, when building habitats, make the most of kairos. I decided to store 1 earth habitat to build another blue moon, riding on the fact that I could speed up the process by 6 hours because of kairos.

On a personal note for you my friend, I sure hope you get that second diamond...55 fails is way too many. Come on wizard, where are you? My bud Marie needs a diamond dragon before it exists the market.

Thank you. It took quite a bit of work, but I finally made it. Then last night I finally got enough for my last island. When I bought it it took me down to 52,000 dc. That is the poorest I've been in ages! Now that the xp is out of the wheel in the races, I was able to triple my money in two races, then I remembered I had kairos power to use. I'm already back up at 10 mil.

All Of the giant habitats have a max Dragon capacity of five. The dc caps for the habitats a are:
Plant, lightning: 50,000
Fire 75,000
Water, air, cold: 100,000
Earth: 150,000
Metal: 200,000
To build the giant plant, lightning, fire, and air habitats it take 24 hours. The giant metal, cold, earth, and water habitats it takes 18 hours.
