Deleting files

I am about to buy the new iPad and am going to sell my iPad 1. How can I delete all photos etc. easily?

The best way is to restore your iPad using iTunes, it'll leave it as a stock machine......be sure not to restore from a backup though.

Or go to Settings > General > Reset, and Erase All Contents and Settings.

This also leaves you with an iPad in brand new setup mode.

I did that but to keep the Ipad one for only music, so started with a fresh Ipad and just added Rhapsody, Pandora, my music and other assorted music related apps. Inexpensive way to replace my aging Touch since a wifi only 64GB One isn't bringing much.
