I learned about A1Perfect browser yesterday and installed. Very Foxfire-ish with tabs. So far I much prefer it to Safari and another I tried. Lots of options

I'm kind of liking the Atomic browser. However, to post this reply from my iPhone, I needed to switch back to Safari.....? Nobody's perfect I guess.

I'm using Perfect too. I had switched to Atomic first (I want tabs) and then tried Perfect. I like the looks of it better, and the touch and hold to open tabs is much more reliable on Perfect. Also, on either browser, I can post here just fine, using the reply box as normal. My browser is set as Safari for iPad.

To be honest I'm pretty happy with the built in Safari application.

I have my bookmarks bar set to always show, so my most common sites are always right there for quick access. And no, you can't see your other open tabs without hitting a button first, but it's pretty painless to me.

Don't like bookmark bars, or any bars that detract from maximum page display.

I currently use A1 just for streaming video as all bars disappear, unlike safari which retains the top bar (annoying design choice).
Tabs are just more crud at the top of the screen....

Instead of bookmarks I 've put my favourite sites on the Pulse app. Can't wait for then to extend the number of feeds beyond 20.

That's annoying as heck, especially since it is from Apple. What I like about Atomic is you can open multiple tabs, then access and close them with gestures. You can even customize what you want certain gestures to do. Safari just lays there.

I had a problem with Atomic where I was trying to log into certain websites (not porn lol) and it was closing my keyboard every time I typed one character...Safari didn't...so I uninstalled.

Perhaps it was just a fluke but it drove me nuts.

Did you figure out how to fix it? I'm having the same problem, also I paid $1.99 now it's $0.99 I sent them an email and they said use safari iPad identify browser, no difference I tried every browser type no change.
Did you find a different better browser?

I just looked at the ratings for the "Perfect" browser and it seems that an equal number of people gave it 5 starts as gave it 1 star. I am going to stick with Atomic (for now!) because I have not seen where Perfect is worth $2 more.

Yeah, I know the app is only $2.99. I have a good job (for now!) and when I wanted an iPad, I just went out and bought one so $2.99 really isn't an issue, but I guess you have to draw the line somewhere. Besides, my primary reason for buying an iPad was to read stuff and browsing is secondary.

Am I being too picky???
