This is a special day for me as it is my 3rd year anniversary with ipadforums. The following is a short history....

So much has happened during that time but looking back it has been an amazing. I started as a user this day 3 years ago as like every one else at time I was excited about a new product that Apple had announced. The all new product would be the " iPad". Back then rumours like today were fast and furious so when Apple finally delivered the iPad and it was really amazing. I guess we had around 5000 members at that time however I could be wrong, regardless membership increased rapidly. I lived in the forum day and night as after spending more than 25 years being involved with every part of Apple's world which included being a specialist reseller for some 15 years this was the biggest change I had ever seen with Apple. I am almost 69 now however I took delivery of my first Apple product in 1977 an Apple 11 plus. I own a combination of many Apple products which include an iPad 3, iPhone 5, iphone 3gs and 2 Apple TV boxes, MacBook plus iPods.

I am very proud to be here and wish to acknowledge my team of 3 Administrators and some 20 super moderators and moderators who volunteer their time looking after iPad forums and not to mention iphone forums and Appleforums. We are approaching 300,000 members here which to me is amazing. Our team is based around the world including of course Australia, England, Canada, Scotland and Malaysia oh and USA This means we can cover the forum 7/24
What that means to you as visitors and of course our users and or members' is you will always find some one whom can answer your questions . I also at this time wish to thank the some hundreds of long time uses who handle support for users no matter where they live in this wonderful world.

Finally a special thank you to our in house News team, our Tech Support Team and the Forum Foundry for making ipadforums number one world wide and finally a special thank you to all our users and visitors..... Thank you...

The bar is opened just have to find the key. Lol .... I will find it ok....

Now the advertisement
. Please visit and join our sister forums iphoneforums.net and Appleforums.net. plus please check out the forum foundry located at Home Page where you will find a selection of some 40 forums to choose from.
Thank you ..... Colin

Let me raise a bottle of Poland Spring to this stellar anniversary. :)

My year and a half (give or take) at iPF has been an incredible learning experience and fun too.
It's been a pleasure to meet so many interesting people.

Compliments to iPF Administration and my fellow moderators, for making our community an engaging and safe experience for all members.

Congratulations! :)

These must have been three very impressive years. I'm member for only four months, and I love iPF. What you built up together was a unique community, and I'm very glad I "came across" it by chance.

I really have to repeat this post which I issued back 3 years ago when every one was looking for a new carry case for there iPad.... Enjoy.. Lol

Exclusive to Australia this kanga pouch offers constant support for your ipad with a warm fuzzy feeling. No zips to damage your precious iPad and guaranteed to offer the support you need when you are on the move. Many Colors are available including Brown, Desert Red, Battleship Grey and Albino (white) However be aware the Albino Kanga is in very very short supply!
Yes this amazing kanga pouch can be yours!!!

Supply is not a problem unlike the iPAD as some 30 million are available however delivery to you may be difficult as they are scattered all over Australia. Some of the issues that you should be aware of before purchasing are you have to be fast to catch one as they can reach 35 mph however learning to hop can be an advantage and you will require permission from the Australian government to export your ipad kanga pouch from Australia but think about it!! you will be the talk of the town when you get your iPAD kanga Pouch back home.

For pricing contact Bond "Alan Bond" I believe he sailed in an important Americas Cup race some years back........
So Hop on Down soooooon :D:D:D

Oh one more thing ( To quote some one we all know :D) . Kangaroo's are part of a group called 'macropods' Now we know where the name came from..... Hop Hop Hop :)

I can't resist this was a year later 2011 last one ok yes roll on the floor laughing

It was reported to day that an order was placed with Apple USA for 30 million kanga-Fi ipad 2's. This is the largest single order ever placed with Apple. The government decided that in order to make sure our 30 million kangaroos have the latest technology that the ipad2 would be the perfect solution. The kanga's as they are known in Australia have a built in pouch which offers constant support for the ipad2 and offers a warm fuzzy feeling and not to mention the special magnets that turn on the iPAD2 when removed from the pouch. There are no zips to damage the precious iPAD2 and it is guaranteed to offer the support they need when they are on the move.

In order to complete the purchase several Apps have been written just for the Kanga's. One of the most popular is Where am I ?. Very popular as they usually are not near roads and get totally lost, another one that is great How fast can I hop. This App is multiuser and allows the population to share there speed times. Internet is a bit or a problem so the government have invented a net work call kanga-Fi which Apple bundles with every ipad2. It is similar to wifi however only kangaroos can use it. One game is so popular it made top of the charts called Angry Roos seems it is real popular. Another real popular App is Shooter similar to red light cameras however it is different as it warns the kangaroos if a kanga shooter is near by....One final game they love is Kanga Racing Similar to Speed racing except Kangaroos hop to the finish line.

Supply to the rest of the world of iPAD2's will be a problem as it is understood that Apple can only produce 40 million iPAD'S in 2011.

One answer to the problem is for the many individuals whom want an ipad2 come to Australia and find there very own kangaroo and take it home with them however finding them may be difficult as they are scattered all over Australia. Of course you will have to pay a price for this unique iPAD2.

Some of the issues that you should be aware of before purchasing are you have to be fast to catch one as they can reach 35 mph however learning to hop can be an advantage and you will require permission from the Australian government to export your ipad2 kanga from Australia but think about it!! you will be the talk of the town when you get your iPAD2 complete with a magnetic kanga Pouch and Kanga-Fi back home.

For pricing for this fantastic offer please contact Bond "Alan Bond"........ I believe he sailed in an important Americas Cup race some years back........
So Hop on Down soooooon :D:D:D......

Oh enjoy this special DAY in September or is it April 1st ........lol :D:D:D:D:D:D

Just marvellous posts, Col with that sense of history there too. Being about your age, coming to the Apple world so late, I envy your experience with Apple products and these forums. Simply put, you're an asset in every sense of the word!

I guess I will feed some more history. One if my personal highlights is the creation of the regional forums.... Regional iPad Groups. At first we developed. Australia as a sub forum this exploded to some 10 sub forums including china. Chinese Dedicated iPad forum

To me this forum was special as non of our current moderators could moderate in Chinese then I met a lovely user csllanna whom volunteered her time to translate our rules plus moderate the Chinese forum. She is now a super moderator in iPad forums and her contribution here with out question is amazing. We are one of the only Apple forums that allow threads and posts to be made in foreign languages and just for the record I am open to adding more countries to our list if we can find volunteers to assist.

Another forum that I would like to mention that truly amazes me as it covers what we call hacking. http://www.ipadforums.net/ipad-hacking/. I personably am not into this but what amazes me so many users are. What many of our visitors and members may not know is as of today we are number one resource for iPad hackers thanks to our dedicated super mods. F4780y and Mickey330. Not only do they offer there highly experience knowledge here but also at iPhone forums... They are legions

Dear all,

As a celebration to Colin's 3rd year anniversary, maybe I try to do something different here:

初晴落景- 李世民

晚霞聊自怡,初晴彌可喜。
日晃百花色,風動千林翠。
池魚躍不同,園鳥聲還異。
寄言博通者,知予物外誌

Chu Qing Luo Jing

wǎn xiá liáo zì yí , chū qíng mí kě xǐ 。
rì huǎng bǎi huā sè , fēng dòng qiān lín cuì 。
chí yú yuè bù tóng , yuán niǎo shēng huán yì 。
jì yán bó tōng zhě , zhī yú wù wài zhì 。

This is a poem which wrote by the Emperor Taizong of Tang Dynasty, personal name Li Shimin, was the second emperor of the Tang Dynasty of China, ruling from 626 to 649.

This poem is try to describe the beauty of the natural park in the late afternoon, with the variety of plants, flowers, fish, birds, etc.

Each and every one of them playing the best part of it - just like Apple IPad Forum, we precious the existence of everyone.

Happy Anniversary to YOU x 3 I love your iPad pouch and would sell like hot cakes over here! I also would like to take this moment to thank you for all of your help, your patience, your wit and every other endearing trait you bring to us everyday! It seems Australia seems to have a great big share of the kudo's that went into and continue to make this forum what it is! My favorite place to be on the net. Enjoy your accolades and don't go away, we need you! Thanks again, squib. :) ;-). :)
