Optimum battery charging levels

My Lenovo laptop recommends maintaining battery charging levels to between 40% and 80% in order to extend battery life.
Are there similar recommendations for my iPad 3 battery.

Thank you. I had read through this article but couldn't find any mention of the ideal charging levels to aim for.
Is it best to keep the battery fully charged each day?

That's not included because the charging level doesn't really matter.

Once or twice a month, let the battery drain below 10 %, that's all.
