Not to mention that a majority of tweaks do not work with the new jailbreak. Most blogs and twitter threads with saurik and pod2g would suggest that if you have a working 6.x jailbreak that has tweaks you can't do without, wait until Evasi0n7 is updated. Heck, even Saurik (the Cydia guy) said that the release surprised him and he had no warning or time to test it or release an updated Cydia with working tweaks. So, I'm going to wait as I can't do without my tweaks, i.e. BTstack or 5 row kb to name a couple. However, it looks like great news is just around the corner. Merry Christmas!
Apparently there is a patched version released. It removes the chinese store TAIG and has just cydia packaged. In effect its a clean install
Just be very careful what you put on your phones and iPad, remember unless it's been tested on here and put in that first post on this thread then it may not be legitimate. The danger to your iProduct should be your main concern
The 6.1.3-6.1.5 package will be arriving soon for those that're still on iOS 6 and waiting for an untethered and aren't up for the iOS 7 jailbreak. The pre-A5 package has been released in the form of "p0sixspwn" in Cydia. A5+ devices will have to wait another few days
Hi everyone, I am very new to apple products. I am having ipad mini. Should I jailbreak at this point? Can anybody simplify the procedure for me? I have updated to ios 7 via OTA. I shall be much thankful. Sent from my ZP950H using Tapatalk
If you're new to jailbreaking or the iOS sandboxing structure, it's recommended that you not use the iOS 7 jailbreak as it's not as forgiving as the iOS 6 and below jailbreaks.
Thank you very much willerz2 for your help. But one day I have to do that. The reason why I was unhappy with my ipad mini buy was, that I was unable to do what I wanted to do with my ipad mini. I am all time Android user and the first thing I do with my Android, is to root it. You can say that for the time being it is not advisable because it may be premature but one day I have to do it. You can play around with it, but just be warned that it's extremely unforgiving. You can manually theme your device, but you cannot develop widgets without a developer beta version of MobileSubstrate. If you wish to proceed with it, restore the device afresh using iTunes (can be done by following this sticky), then jailbreak using this sticky. Make sure you backup your device prior to restoring.
