Looks scrumptious! Scoring VERY high for presentation too.
Chef Ramsay would be glowing. :)

We have looked at these machines, but I think I prefer to have a go at hand made first. I love the pick axe tale :)

Thx AA. Yes, we enjoyed cake making. Bread is a natural progression. My brother and I loved it when mum baked. The smell of new bread filled the house ... Mmmmmm

Thx for the site info, MadChef. I have it bookmarked. It will certainly be useful. I would like to try wholemeal alternatives to naan and baguettes, if possible. My wife is allergic to white breads, white rice etc. so, the investment in baking would pay off handsomely if I could crack that problem :) :)

Delicious, Gabriel. I think I have seen their bread in a couple of shops near home. A small bakery in our area is called Plaxtol Bakery. Their cakes are brilliant.

That's one of our favourites. A lasting memory of our first visit to Canada was the smell of fresh cinnamon bread filling a shopping mall. We had to stop for elevensies... ;)

    Thanks.
Quiet night in the Promar sector so I had time to make a Greek pasta salad too.

It's been a cold windy day, so I prepared some warming food.....

    image-4166476692.jpg

    image-779942231.jpg

I scored the squash, sprinkled it with salt and pepper and brushed honey over. The pie was shop bought beef & ale with a puff pastry topping.

    image-973773950.jpg

While the food was in the oven, I knocked up a stir fry.

    Ready to serve.

Can't wait till my husband comes home with fondue fixings -- sweet and savory. I hope they've not run out of the good bread. I like a ciabatta best.

Kaykaykay -- fondue sounds delicious as well! Love ciabatta bread, but any bread to me tastes great! :)
