It's Sable island, off the coast of Nova Scotia, Canada. The Sable Island ponies arrived on the island in the late 18th century for pasture. They are found only on Sable Island and on mainland Nova Scotia in a herd descended from animals removed from the island in the 1950&rsquo;s.

It looks straight out of the deep south, like an old plantation house. Sure it is not, but it looks like houses in southern Alabama and mid Georgia.

Here's a clue. It's not actually a real house, it was built to look like one, in the 1960's.
