It is 1 of 8 UNESCO World Heritage sites in the country it's located in and a window on the world as it was more than 3 million years ago.

It's Bandelier National Monument, near Los Alamos, New Mexico. Here's me visiting in 1974:

It was a major population center, between the 12th and 17th centuries, of the ancestors of the area's modern Pueblo people.
