Wooden cradles for beer kegs,to keep them from rolling around.They're probably in the back room of a pub.Either that or Larkins brewery,in Kent.

I'm pretty sure I've seen an example of this before. Is it a miniature watch with a magnifying front and back? Was it made for ladies? Was it used by nurses?

It isn't a miniature Richard, that's it with a full size can of coke.

The top and bottom are solid glass pieces that screw off and they are magnifiers.

Wrong profession though and too large for a lady.

These were used by men in a certain field of transportation.

They sell these in the antique shops around here, I'm guessing here, for use by a ships captain......I've no idea why though!
