The pages do not auto update, they have to be manually refreshed. If you went to this page before I posted, then made your post after mine, but without refreshing the page first, you wouldn't have seen my post until after your post went through, with my post seemingly appearing out of nowhere. In the future it would be a good idea to refresh the page just before posting, just so you don't miss a post like mine.
