Could you try zooming out a little on the next photo? Sharpen it up a little too.You're either taking the pictures from too close a distance or are over enlarging a photo taken at too great a distance.

It's certainly made from clay. It's not used to eat from.

The manufacturer's pieces are highly decorative, and serve a function.

Re the photos, I've cropped in close to make this a challenging challenge. Perhaps the amount of cropping has over enlarged the image which loses some of the sharpness.

The manufacturer is from Stoke on Trent, and has a museum at the current factory.

The designs are internationally renowned, if not iconic.

You are spot on Scifan. The challenge is yours. Here's the little beauty. It's about 8" tall. It doesn't have a lid.

I couldn't find this exact pattern,do you know what it's called.Here's a similar pattern I found.On second thought,the pattern of your vase is the Queen's choice pattern,check out the picture in the link.Look at the vase on the far right.
