The Motorola SCR-536 - the original walkie talkie (called handy-talkie at first.) The same equipment is often called BC-611 for its main radio unit. Generally issued to the infantry.

Developed in 1940 by then Galvin Manufacturing,
later Motorola.

Correct,Admiral.Motorola called this the handie- talkie.The walkie- talkie was a 35 pound backpack unit called the bc1000.

No,fleur,this is not a meat grinder.It has nothing whatsoever to do with food preparation of any kind.
