The Elite website isn't yielding, Admiral. (that sounds like I'm looking at a scene from Battlestar Galactica )

The closest I can find is that the item is part of an air conditioning unit.

BTW, if on the off-chance I am correct, I throw the next challenge open to the first comer as I won't be able to monitor anything for most of the day.

Richard you have the answer. It is the outdoor fan and compressor housing of our home's air conditioner. It's working very hard this summer.


Per Richard's instructions, the next challenge is open to any iPF member.
