What is it?

No,that's not it. An excellent place to view some of this stone, used in a famous building, lies not too far from you, located on a hill overlooking the Ottawa River. It's quarried farther west, though.

I am familiar with the Upper Canada Stone Company & the Upper Canada Minerals Company. I think their limestone operation is near Sudbury, Ontario.

Further west than Ontario. The stone comes from the Ordovician Red River Formation.

Gillis Quarries is just outside of Winnipeg.
They quarry In Tyndall, Manitoba, Canada.

According to Wiki, their limestone was first used in 1832 for building Lower Fort Garry.

It's also been used in the construction of the Canadian Parliament Buildings in Ottawa and the Saskatchewan Legislature building in your home city of Regina.

Correct on all counts,Admiral. The Manitoba legislature building is also built of Tyndall stone.

Over to you,Admiral.

Squeeze container of mustard. The origins of mustard are lost to history, but the mustard plant originated in the northern hemisphere. Mustard is made from the seeds of the mustard plant. Mustard was known to the Romans as well as the Chinese who used it as far back as 3,000 years ago.
The use of mustard on hot dogs dates to the World's fair in St Louis in 1904, when it was introduced by the R.T. French Company.
