Reading The blue last by Martha Grimes, The plausibility of life, resolving Darwin's dilemma by Kirshner and Gerhart. Obviously I hit the used book store.

Good morning to all :)
I just finished up most of James Rollins' collection. What a writer and researcher! All of his books demonstrated, beside of his writing skill, the knowledge of science and myth. Often, I stopped reading and checked out Wikipedia and Google for a better understanding and enjoyment. In some cases, when the plots were so intense, I forwarded thru the end to ensure that the good guys were ok, then resumed (don't laugh, as he is that good ;) ). What an impact that he has made ! It took me a few days before I could start to look for something else to read. For the moment, Clifford Irving's Trial is quite good. I always like Legal Thriller. He did quite well in this one. Next would be John Grisham's latest novel, Gray Mountain.
So, I really appreciate the tips from Mickey330 about Archer Mayor's and from Bennettb about Martha Grimes' works. I certainly would check them out soon.
Hi Squib, glad to see that you like Michael Connelly's The Scarecrow. If you haven't, check out his other collections. Harry Bosch and Mickey Haller series. They are all good. Of course, James Patterson's Women's Murder Club series are outstanding.:)
Happy reading, everyone, and share your thoughts :)

Hi mydave,
So glad you have become a James Rollins fan! You sound as excited about his writings as I do! I'm exactly like you, [emoji79] When things get intense I always have to skip ahead to make sure the characters I like are ok - then relax and go back and read in peace! [emoji39][emoji170] yes, I have read Michael Connelly's other series as well! I guess we like the same styles of writing! [emoji4]

:) Peace begins with a smile :)

Hi Diane,
Do you know that this book was just released : [Harry Bosch 19] - The Burning Room - Michael Connelly. I would get it next after finishing John Grisham's Gray Mountain. Grisham is one of my favorite authors. But his work is not always consistent as Rollins, Gimmenez, Brown, Crichton, and a few others that I love to read. The Trial by Clfford Irving turned out to be quite good. You may be interested.
Cheers,
