Careful there!, there's a car coming! Oh, that's right, you all drive on the right side. We all drive on the left side and reckon that's the right side

LOL--they are for a baby shower at work today. It's suppose to be enough for 15-18 people, so I bought about 5 stocks worth. That and black olive and sour cream! The theme is Mexican food! Should be good!!![]()
Left? Right? Right? Wrong? That's confusing!![]()

Black olives and sour cream. Sounds good. Never tried that but definitely will. Are they like Kalamata olives?

To be sure it is. I remember asking for road directions in Ireland once. The instructions were "If you get to the fourth street after the bridge over there, you have gone too far. You must take the next street to your right and then if you turn left you'll be right. The next street is the "fourth" on your right". I didn't understand the accent. It seems he meant "first" on the right. We found the right road eventually

I do that sometimes. For me it's not a bad habit. It's not a good one, either.
Developing the bad habit of staying up past midnight.
Same thing happened to me and I'm still doing it.![]()
I've been known to stay up until 6 in the morning.

Black olives are blander than Kalamata olives, which are usually brined. The flesh of black olives, at least ones I've had over the years, also is less firm than that of Kalamata olives. In the US, Kalamata olives often are sold unpitted, while black olives usually have been pitted. Kalamata olives generally are more expensive as well.
I've never met an olive I didn't like.
In Chinese culture, we preserve and candy a lot of olives, so they end up as sweetmeats.
