Hi, I'm a new member from Canada. My husband purchased my iPad for my birthday....awesome man! I love it!
My laptop is basically used as an external hard drive now...lol. Seriously considering an iMac purchase.
I have only had one problem with my iPad and it just showed up recently....
When I'm in safari and want to open a bookmark... Tap on the little book icon and it closes safari. I can't access any of my bookmarks. Can I fix this?
Thanks

Hi and welcome to the Forum!

Lovely intro btw. Yes you can fix this, sometimes apps just go a little wonky and the first step to take is to close the app completely. From the home screen do the four finger swipe up or double press the home button to reveal your multi task bar. These are all the apps that you have opened at one time. Long press the app until it jiggles and a red minus sign will appear above it. Press the minus sign, this will close the app, not delete it, now just touch your screen to return to normal. It's also a good idea to close all these apps, as it helps the iPad run smoothly, let us know how you go.

Hi Thanks for the info. I tried closing everything and then reopening as described. It didn't work until I went into settings and shut off the iCloud sync for bookmarks. I then opened Safari and bookmarks opened. I then turned bookmarks back on in iCloud and all my synced bookmarks worked great. A little back and forth but so far so good. Thanks again.
