try to use the nails instead of the fingertips ;)

A capacitive touch device works by sending a small amount of electricity into a conductive object (people are quite conductive given our high concentration of water), and determines location by the signal that is sent back. This means that fingernails will not conduct therefore they will not work.

Resistive screens work by determining pressure location...which is why they tend to use a stylus and are not very responsive.

Pugs can destroy many things... but iPhones fortunately are more durable than you would think.

I use a Pogo stylus quite a bit and it will do the trick. I wish the tip were a bit smaller but it will take care of the fingernail problem.

Korean sausage

Remembered reading it somewhere that Korean used sausage in the winter time to touch iPhone. It has become a product of some sort. Don't know where you can get it.

No only were they using the sausages due to the cold weather so they didnt have to take off their gloves. But they ran out of sausages because of it. Sausage shortage!
