i finally got it to install but the notification center plugin doesn't work. It just comes up as a grey box at the bottom of the notification center that's blank. Must have to be updated for 5.1.1
I have SBSettings installed but I've not tried to stick it into the Notification Center, yet. That said, have you gone to your Settings app and ensured that SBSettings is added to the Notification Center? It doesn't install there automatically, even though you've activated it in the actual SBSettings tweak.
I had the same hash sum issue, tried several times and got different errors, then I installed activator first, followed by SBsettings and voila I now have it working just fine.

Just to update: I've now got SBSettings running fine in my Notification Center. It works well and so far, knock on wood, no problems.
However, having it in the Notification Center just emphasizes how terribly designed the Ntoficastion Center pull down is on the iPad. It's just a nasty-looking square that doesn't fit in with the rest of the smooth UI. Blech.
But, I'll live with it, and hope that a developer will work on theming the Notification Center for the iPad3. There is a Notification Center tweak (CustomNCBackground) but it doesn't work right on the iPad3.
Just done new jailbreak on iPad 3. Installed sbsettings and that's where the problems begin. I have uninstalled it and still always boots in safe mode!! reinstalled and get the same problem.*
Crash log is below if anyone knows why. Now it's uninstalled I am even more confused!*
