Replying to mail

CAn anyone tell me how to reply to mail without including the original message. I know you can not include any attachment but would like to be able to reply using a 'clean' page. Thanks.

On your reply email, touch and hold some text on the page, when the options bar appears touch "select all" then touch the "x" top right of keyboard. You should now have a clean email.

How can I see the originsl message when replying to an email?
I was able to see it before but not any more.
