Remote Controlling an IPAD

I support some elder family members from a distance and I would like to either remote control their IPADs or at least be able to see the IPAD from my IPAD or another computer. I was hoping that TeamViewer would work but it doesn't look like it. Does anyone know of a way to do this?

Unfortunately, you cannot remote control a stock iPad. You can only remote control an iPad if it has been jail broken (then you can use a tweak such as Veency).

From what I understand, there isn't a way to achieve this in an official app at the moment. Maybe if you're jailbroken.
I heard a rumour that LogMeIn were working with Apple to make this possible, at least for their Rescue product. That may just be talk to sell licences though.
