Problem Viewing Photos on iPad

Hi,

I have uploaded photos to my iPad, and I can see thumbnails of the photos. However, when I click on a photo to view in full screen mode, the screen goes completely black. I can't view any photos in full screen mode. Has anyone had a similar problem, and does anyone know how to fix it?
