Hi all,
I have recently bought a bluetooth keyboard, but when I press some textbox to type something, the onscreen keyboard still pops up. Is there a way to manually stop this from happening?

needless to say this is a keyboard for iPad 4 on iOS 10.3.2.

Any help will be sincerely appreciated!

There is no setting. If the iPad is properly paired with and detecting the Bluetooth keyboard, the touch keyboard should not pop up.

Does the keyboard work with any app at all?

Make sure the keyboard shows as connected in the Bluetooth settings. Try forgetting and repairing the keyboard and see if that helps.

Also, try restarting and/or reseting the iPad.

While pretty much any Bluetooth keyboard whould work witht he iPad, did this one say it was specifically for use with iPads. If so, what make and modle is it? See if you can find any reported issues with it online.
