Went ahead and updated the 3 a few days ago, have the update files for my 4S and my iPad2 downloaded and ready to install at zero hour.

Well there's the 3,3 do you have a AT&T or VZW iPad3?

What is the time difference between the conference and the east coast?

The conference is in Amsterdam which is GMT+1. The East coast is GMT-5 so they're 6 hours ahead of you.

AT the time of my posting it is 1:40pm Central time 2:40pm Eastern and 8:40pm in Amsterdam.

No one knows the exact time the jail break is being released. In fact, technically, it is still rumor that it will be released tomorrow. Everyone is hoping for tomorrow, and are saying it'll be during the Team's address on jail breaking (which starts around 3am EST).

However, and again, this is all CONJECTURE! No one knows when a jail break is to be released except the official jail break developers.

Us general public people only know for sure when we actually SEE the release.

Anyone know approximately how long it will take to jailbreak the iPad? I have not jail broken an apple device since the original iPhone.

That's what I meant lol... On pod2g's last tweet he said the 3,3 was done and they were waiting on the 2,4.


About how long it will take to jailbreak:

I think it's a fairly automated process which I dislike. I have had 5 Android phones and tablets and 2 HP Touchpads I had android on and love command line rooting/jailbreaking. I enjoy knowing exactly what goes on and what I'm doing instead of a 1 click wonder...

I have never jailbroken before but from start to finish I wouldn't expect it to be more than a few minutes.
